Maintaining healthy work practices and business as usual at Exeter Science Park

March 19, 2020

|

We understand that it’s a tough time for everyone at the moment and our priority is to ensure the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, clients, partners, suppliers and the wider network.

We have already put in place the infrastructure to enable us to continue operating the park and providing support and advice during this challenging time so that we are able to continue with business as usual.

Exeter Science Park Limited (ESPL)

The ESPL team will be working from home except when there is an urgent need to be in the office. Business as usual will generally be maintained through remote access to phones and to email.

We will hold internal and external meetings using Microsoft Teams. Face-to-face meetings will be held on site in extremis (e.g. signing contracts, accessing keys etc.) supported by a risk assessment.

For further information, contact Lucie Davis: 01392 247047 or enquiries@exetersciencepark.co.uk.

Peninsula Innovation Limited (PIL)

PIL has switched operations where possible to remote provision. The Science Park Centre will remain open to clients and business critical functions, such as phone and IT services, will continue to operate and be supported.

We would advise clients to follow the Government advice in working from home where possible or respecting the social distancing guidelines if you do need to use the Science Park Centre.

We have closed the shared services including the café, seminar rooms and hot desk meeting rooms until further notice but will continue to offer a remote Front of House service and ensure that facilities, security and cleaning continue to be delivered as necessary.

However, we will not be able to accept deliveries so please do arrange for anything you are expecting to be redirected. If this is not possible please contact us on the details below:

SETsquared Exeter

SETsquared Exeter will continue to provide Business Support services to clients over the coming period.

There is the opportunity to discuss the challenges you may be facing due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic with our professional services Advisors in Residence and we will be circulating advice and guidance for accessing the Government’s support packages.

Our Entrepreneur in Residence team will continue to be available to provide support and direction to the client base and we will be moving our structured workshops and programmes to online platforms

Finally, in these unprecedented times, from everyone involved at the Science Park, we would like to reassure you that providing support to you as businesses and individuals remains our priority. We hope that we can all help to ensure that you come through this testing period, safe and ready for the next stage of your future.

To that end, we are in the process of arranging a joint, virtual weekly drop-in, details of which will be circulated in due course.
