Diagnexia

Who are they?
Diagnexia is a leading provider of pathology services, offering innovative diagnostic services to healthcare organisations worldwide. Its cloud-based platform enables hospitals to send cases for consultation to a team of expert subspecialist pathologists, streamlining the diagnostic process and providing fast, accurate results.
Why Exeter Science Park?
Diagnexia moved to Exeter Science Park in 2021. Part of its motivation to relocate was to be closer to graduate talent at the University of Exeter. Since then, its rapid growth – 450% increase in demand for its services between December 2022 and May 2023 – has seen it move to new larger premises at the Science Park.
Impact on the business
The Science Park’s flexibility around the provision of office space has enabled Diagnexia to move into larger premises as it has grown. In May 2023 it celebrated further expansion and the creation of 30 jobs in the area. Its expansion has tripled the capacity at the facility to meet growing demand for services. Dr Donal O’Shea, CEO of Diagnexia UK Limited, said: “We are delighted to expand our presence in Exeter, a city that has consistently demonstrated its commitment to innovation and growth in the healthcare sector. Our new facility at Exeter Science Park will enable us to better serve our clients across the UK and beyond, while also providing valuable employment opportunities in the local community.”
